Aci Bonaccorsi (Catania Province) is a town on the southeastern slopes of Mt. Etna, 13 km from Catania, alt. 365 m, area 1.7 sq km. Its population is just over 2400, post-code 95020, tel. 095. Agricultural economy.

A feudal center (1169) that developed among the estates of various noble families, including the Bonaccorsi family, and the Princes of Campofiorito, the Diana family from Genoa.

The first part of the name of the town, Aci, celebrates the local myth of Acis and Galatea.

Churches (Acireale Diocese) include the following:
Santa Maria dell'Indirizzo (Chiesa Madre)
Maria SS. Ritornata (Lavina - suburb of Aci Bonaccorsi)

On December 26 is the Festa of Santo Stefano.
