Bosco di Caronia (Messina Province), in the territory of the town of Caronia, is the forest of the same
name, which is also the name of this last part of the Nebrodi. It was once the
largest forest in Sicily and, though now less extensive, it is still a splendid
sight with its magnificent trees - mostly elms, oaks and ash trees. The views
on every side are stupendous.

My latest book on CD is titled Sicily - A Reference for Researchers and is now available. With a file for each town (plus many other files), it relates the history of Sicily as reflected in the photos, records and festivals of its towns. It contains over 2500 text and photo files and can be ordered at CD order.
