Calanna (Reggio Calabria Province) is a town of 1,011 inhabitants. At 511m above sea level it was one of the ancient houses of Reggio Calabria and one of its hilly defensive systems in the Middle Ages. The village economy is based primarily on agriculture, with an appreciable production of fruit and wine.
