Camini (Reggio Calabria Province) is a town of 727 inhabitants. Formerly known as Kaminion which means fireplace or furnace because once the country was characterized by some furnaces for the production of ceramic objects. Fireplaces is also called "Cameno" and was built as a farmhouse stylus around the seventh century, prosperous period for the country. First mayor was Francis Pileggi (1806-1809).
