valley of the River Tusa, area 28.4 sq km, pop. 1,682, post-code 98070, tel.
0921. Economy: agriculture (wheat, vegatables, sulla); stock farms for the
production of cheese, wool and meat; handmade lace and textiles.
Medieval in origin, it was part of the fief of Mistretta until the 18th century.
