Cerami (EN)
Cerami (Enna Province) is 74 km from Enna, alt. 970 m, on the south face of Monte Annunziata, area 94. 9 sq km, pop. 3,044, post-code 94010, tel. 0935. Economy: agriculture (cereals, fruit, olives, almonds, honey, dumac); dairy products.
Traces of a prehistoric Bronze Age village have been found in the vicinity. The area of the urban center in classical times has also been located, as well as remains of Byzantine settlement. In the Middle Ages the town spread around the castle.
Of interest is the Piazza Matrice.
