Faro Superiore (Messina Province) is a hamlet north of Messina. On the outskirts is the Chiesa Dell'Assunta, rebuilt at the beginning of the century; it contains a column (1170), a 16th century panel painting of the Madonna della Candelora, and two smaller 17th century marble ciboria.
