Ferla (Siracusa Province) is 52 km from Siracusa, 556 m, in the Hyblaean Mountains, on the eastern slopes of Monte Lauro, area 24.8 sq km, pop. 3,003, post-code 96010, tel. 0931. Agricultural economy.
This little town was rebuilt after the earthquake in 1693 a little to the north of its original medieval site.
