Furnari (Messina Province) is 59 km from Messina, alt. 145 m, in low hill-land in the Gulf of Patti area, area 13.5 sq km, pop. 3, 615, post-code 98054, tel. 0941. Agricultural economy.
It was founded in the 14th century and granted as a fief to the Furnari family, who obtained the title of Dukes from Philip IV.
