Lascari (Palermo Province) is 58 km. from Palermo, alt. 76 m., near the Tyrrhenian coast, west of Capo Plaia, area 10.4 sq. km., pop. over 3100, post-code 90010, tel. 0921. Agricultural economy.
This town developed in the Middle Ages around the fortifications in the Sant'Eufemia area. The present town dates from the mid 18th century when it was a ward of the neighboring town of Gratteri.
