Lucca Sicula (Agrigento Province) is 66 km. from Agrigento, alt. 513 m., on the slopes of the Serra di Biondo, in the lower Verdura Valley, area 18.4 sq. km., pop. over 2200, post-code 92010, tel. 0925. Agricultural economy: cereals, almonds, olives, sumac.

This town was founded in 1622 by Francesco Lucchesi of Campofranco. It was part of the Culla fief, and it spread along the road from Villafranca Sicula to Bivona.
