Marina di Gioiosa Ionica (Reggio Calabria Province) is an Italian town of 6,612 inhabitants. It is situated in the territory of the Locri area on the coast of the Ionian Sea, called the Coast of Jasmine, left of the mouth of the River Cloudy. It is 107 km from the city of Reggio Calabria.
It has an economy that's primarily commercial and is a popular summer resort known for its crystal clear sea and its wide sandy beach.
The agriculture is based on the cultivation of olives, citrus, and small-scale fishing.
