Montemaggiore Belsito (PA)
Montemaggiore Belsito (Palermo Province) is a hill town about 80 km. from Palermo, alt. 517 m., on the western Madonie, on the northwest face of the Monte Roccelito, area 31.83 sq. km., with a population of over 4,000. Post-code is 90020, tel. 091. Agricultural economy (cereals, vegetables).
An ancient fief, it belonged to the Termine family from Norman times. The town started growing in the 17th century.
