Monti Nebrodi (Messina Province) is chain of mountians between the Madonie and the Peloritani, over-looking the Tyrrhenian Sea, 70 km long and up to 30 km wide; highest alt. 1,847 m (Monte Saro).
Created a park by the Sicilian Region. Rich in woods (oaks and beeches) and picturesque villages, an ideal area for excursion.
