Pezzolo (Messina Province) is a small village south of Messina, in the Monti Peloritani, alt. 350 m. The Chiesa Madre, dedicated to St Nicholas, has some fine works both externally and internally - on the outside of a fine 16th century portal and on the inside an outstanding 16th century ciborium, a 17th century holy water stoup, and an 18th century font.

My latest book on CD is titled Sicily - A Reference for Researchers and is now available. With a file for each town (plus many other files), it relates the history of Sicily as reflected in the photos, records and festivals of its towns. It contains over 2500 text and photo files and can be ordered at CD order.
