Santa Cristina Gela (Palermo Province) is 25 km. from Palermo, alt. 674 m., on Monte Learolo, area 38.5 sq. km., pop. over 800, post-code 90030, tel. 091. Agricultural economy.
Founded in 1746 in the Sancta Christina fief granted to Naselli, Duke of Gela, and then ceded by him to a group of Albanians from Piana.
Of interest are the Palazzina Musacchia, Casa Palermo (art nouveau), and the Vannucci Ramione fortress-house at Contrada Pianetto.
