San Gregorio di Catania (Catania Province) is 8 km from Catania, alt. 321 m, on the southeastern slopes of Etna, area 5.6 sq km. Its population is just over 9,700, post-code 95027, tel. 095. Economy: agriculture.

This town was purchased with others by the Counts of Massa in 1646 in a territory that was inhabited in Norman times, if not before.

On September 3 is the Festa of San Gregorio.
