Spadafora (Messina Province) is 29 km from Messina, alt. 6 m, on the coast of the Gulf of Milazzo, area 10.3 sq km, pop. 5,292, post-code 98048, tel. 090. Economy: agriculture, brickworks and packing material.
Founded 1737 by Gualtiero Spadafora in the ancient fief of San Martino, which had already belonged to his familiy since the mid-15th century.
