Ucria (Messina Province) is 121 km from Messina, alt. 710 m , in the northern Nebrodi, on the west slopes of Rocca del Paggio, on the left of the River Sinagra, area 26.2 sq km, pop. 1,587, post-code 98060, tel. 0941. Agricultural economy.
Of ancient medieval origin, it belonged to the fief of the Perollo family, and subsequently to the Ventimiglias, the Peraltas and Marchettis.
The Chiesa Madre contains a statue of Our Lady of the Annunciation (early 16th century)
