Valdina (Messina Province) is 34 km from Messina, alt. 213 m, in the hinterland of the Gulf of Patti, in the foothills of the northern Peloritani, area 2.8 sq km, pop. 1,287, post-code 98040, tel. 090. Economy: agriculture, brickworks.
Founded by Giovanni Rocca under the Aragonese; its present name honors the memory of Andrea Valdina.
