Valledolmo (Palermo Province) is 100 km. from Palermo, alt. 746 m., in the southwest Madonie, on the slopes of Pizzo Sampieri, area 25.8 sq. km., pop. over 4500, post-code 90029, tel. 091. Economy: agriculture (cereals, grapes), industries (foodstuffs, furniture, building, plastics).

Founded in the early 17th century by Antonio Cutelli with the name of Castelnormanno, it later took its name from a great elm tree that used to stand near the Chiesa delle Anime Sante.
