Petrosino (Trapani Province) is 40 km from Trapani, alt. 13 m, near the coast of the African Sea, area 45 sq km, pop. 7,385, post-code 91020, tel. 0923. Economy: Agriculture (fruit, vegetables, wine-grapes), wine cooperatives.
It became an autonomous commune in 1980. It extends over territories previously belonging to the communes of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo.
This is an agricultural town where wine and freshly picked fruit and vegetables can be bought at bargain prices.
